Day 1 - A signed copy of Christmasland by Anne-Marie Meyer
Welcome to Christmasland
A Town Where All Your Christmas Dreams Come True
When Emilia told me she won an all-inclusive trip to Christmasland, I laughed. Outloud.
Surely a place like that didn't exist.
Boy, was I wrong.
Now I'm stuck on holiday repeat where everywhere I turn there's Christmas carols, sledding, cookie decorating, and holiday cheer. All of which, I'm told, is part of the "experience" of Christmasland. But I can't believe that. A whole town dedicated to recreating a Christmas movie for all of its guests? You've got to be joking.
Until I start checking off the list of events.
Rescued by a Handsome Stranger who's Back Home from the Big City ✓
A Overzealous Town Busybody who seems Determined to Change my Grinchy Spirit ✓
A Baking Competition I Couldn't Possibly Win ✓
A Montage of Feel Good Christmas Events ✓
An Interrupted First Kiss... ✓
Now I don't know what is real and what is fake. I know I have feelings for the grumpy Hero, but I can't tell if he returns them.
In a place that peddles in fake realities, this is the first experience I wish was real.
I want to believe in a Christmas miracle, but my holiday history has told me, Christmas comes with nothing but disappointment.
I've never gotten a happily ever after and I doubt that will change now.
If you love laugh out loud holiday romances, you'll love Christmasland where the cliches are leaned into and the sap is drizzled thick. It promises to make you laugh, make you swoon, and leave you feeling excited for this holiday season.
Tune into the Hallmark Channel tonight for the premiere of this book's adaptation titled "Believe in Christmas!" www.hallmarkchannel.com/believe-in-christmas
What is your favorite Christmas Movie?
My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. I watch it every year on Christmas Eve while staying up late to wrap last minute gifts.
It’s tough to limit to one. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have 4 children. We watch so many movies leading up to Christmas. I guess I’ll pick PRANCER. Jessica Rigg’s faith and strong belief in the “magic of Christmas” inspired a whole town and made her father realize what precious gifts he had in his 2 children. Love the messages: to be true to yourself, follow your heart, and have the courage to go your own way.
Close second is a Miracle On 34th Street.
My favorite movie is White Christmas.
There are so many favorites when it comes to Christmas movies and Adaptations. I do love the Christmas in Evergreen 🌲 series and Christmas Joy! There are new ones every year! Look forward to this Christmas 🎄 lineup and to reading books, as well as, gifting books.
I can't pick a favorite Christmas movie because I love so many Hallmark & Great American Family Christmas movies!!!
